About

I knew travel and global learning were passions of mine from a very young age. Learning about and meeting people from so many different cultures brings me so much joy and motivates me to keep learning with an open mind to all the world has to offer.

At the same time, these experiences have also educated me on the incredible unequal distribution of wealth and recourses around the world. The more I learn, the more I want to take action. This is why I chose to take a year off of school and travel at the age of 18. I backpacked around Europe and I spent several months in Fiji and Kenya serving low income communities. I got to help teach in schools and work with amazing women throughout these trips who shared with me some amazing stories. These were the best days of my life.

Through these travels, the main things being asked from these communities was education and money. This is why I chose to pursue International Business and Supply Chain Management at FIU. At such a young age, I did not have the adequate amount of knowledge to actually bring long term change to these communities. At FIU, I have participated in FIU Global Medallion Program, Peace Corps Prep, and the International Business Honor Society to gain additional skills and knowledge that truly make a difference.
